Reactor #4 is considered to be extremely radioactive, you can't be there for a very long time, as you will become exposed to the radiation a bit more quickly than you would in Pripyat (about half a mile to a mile away). Great photo though!
Ah the sarcophagus, the one thing that covers the reactor. (btw way it is almost completely free of radiation, not completely but almost, so yes he can get THAT close without dying.)
I admire your bravery, it's weird that in the movies and video games describe the place as extreamly dangerous. But really life there is coming back sooner than "expected" and the radiation level has gone down dramatically since the day it happened. Eventually, if they all think about going back to clean it all up, they may be able to use it again.
